SsangYong Australia has outlined a big model year update for its Musso and Rexton ranges, with the 2024 SsangYong range on sale now in Australia. Both the Musso and Rexton have received new features, more technology and a revised model lineup, including new Adventure grades for both models. Predictably, there have been price rises in both the Rexton and Musso ranges, with the Rexton now starting $1,010 higher ($50,000 drive away) and the Musso now $1,210 higher ($40,000 drive away).

Both the Musso and Rexton have earned a new dashboard layout with a new 12.3-inch touchscreen with new USB-C ports in the centre console. The climate control is now via a touchscreen on the dashboard. Mechanically, the 2024 SsangYong range is identical to before, though the brand has made changes to both the Musso and Rexton’s ride comfort with increased isolation from sharp road inputs.

Both the Musso and Rexton now feature a new Adventure trim level, which sits above the entry-level ELX in both model lineups. In the Musso, it’s priced from $42,500 drive away and adds features like four-fold LED front fog lights, black alloy wheels and leather-look upholstery – the Rexton Adventure is priced from $54,000 drive away.

Under the bonnet of the 2024 SsangYong range is the same 2.2-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine as the pre-updated models.
