Hyundai Australia has revealed local pricing and specifications for the 2024 Hyundai Palisade, which will soon be in dealerships. A minor specification update for the 2024 model year, the updated Palisade now features more standard equipment across the range, while the previous top-spec Highlander has been renamed Calligraphy and a black-accented Calligraphy Black now sits atop the range. Pricing has risen by as much as $1,530 to accomodate the update.

“2024 Palisade builds on the renowned appeal and value of our flagship large SUV with the contemporary new Calligraphy Black Ink variant and additional standard features across the range,” said Hyundai Motor Company Australia Chief Executive Officer, Ted Lee.

For the 2024 model year, the entry-level 2024 Hyundai Palisade Elite gains a heated steering wheel, 8-way electric adjustment for the front passenger seat, acoustic front door glass, alloy scuff plates, mélange knit headliner and pillar liners and wood-like trim inserts. Pricing for the Elite starts at $66,900 plus on-road costs – a $900 increase on the 2023 car.

The Calligraphy gains – over the Highlander that it replaces – a new touchscreen for its tri-zone climate control system, as well as acoustic rear glass and hydrophobic front door glass. Calligraphy pricing starts at $75,900, which is a $935 increase on the 2023 Highlander.

Above the Calligraphy, the Calligraphy Black adds black exterior and interior highlights, including black leather and suede upholstery. Calligraphy Black models are priced $1,000 more than the regular Calligraphy, or from $76,900 plus on-road costs.

Otherwise, the 2024 Hyundai Palisade range remains unchanged.
