Renault Australia has announced a new limited edition version of its Koleos mid-size SUV, which is due in showrooms now. Based on the top-spec Koleos Intens, the 2023 Renault Koleos Iconic Edition adds a number of features and yet, it’s priced lower from $48,990 drive away for the two-wheel drive car or $51,490 drive away for the all-wheel drive car. The Iconic Edition is limited to just 400 units.
“The SUV segment continues to be the most dominant segment in the Australian automotive market and the new Koleos Iconic Edition will give us a unique point of difference,” says Glen Sealey, Renault Australia General Manager.
“With sharp drive away pricing, European design, luxurious specification, high levels of safety and our 5-year Easy Life Ownership programme, the Renault Koleos Iconic Edition represents terrific value for money”.
Compared to the Koleos Intens, the 2023 Renault Koleos Iconic Edition adds new ‘Initiate Paris’ 19-inch alloy wheels, side steps, floor mats, an Iconic Edition badge at the rear, French flag badges on the B pillars, metallic paint – including an Iconic Edition-exclusive ‘Amethyst Black’ colour – and on the inside, Nappa leather upholstery in either sand or black colouring.
That’s on top of other equipment in the Koleos Intens, including an 8.7-inch portrait touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, inbuilt satellite navigation, electrically adjustable front seats with both heating and ventilation, a panoramic sunroof, a hands-free tailgate, dual-zone climate control with rear vents and automatic LED lighting with auto wipers.
The only engine available with the 2023 Renault Koleos Iconic Edition is the same 126kW/226Nm 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine as the rest of the range, once again mated to a CVT automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive models are rated at a claimed 8.1L/100km on the combined fuel consumption cycle – all-wheel drive models add 0.2L/100km to that.
