Audi Australia has launched a limited edition of its high-performance RSQ3 SUV, with the 2023 Audi RS Q3 Sportback Edition 10 Years on sale now ahead of deliveries in the middle of the year. Celebrating 10 years since Audi launched the original RS Q3 and limited to just 555 units worldwide – it’s not known how many are destined for Australia – the special RS Q3 is priced from $102,800 plus on-road costs.

“This special edition pays great tribute to the best of SUV performance in the RS Q3 Sportback,” said Jeff Mannering, Director of Audi Australia.

“Australia as a market is so performance-focused, and I have no doubt that owners will enjoy exclusive RS touches in this limited edition model.”

Over the standard RSQ3 – and only available in the coupe-like Sportback bodystyle – the 2023 Audi RS Q3 Sportback Edition 10 Years adds a number of trim upgrades over the standard RS Q3 Sportback. This includes black 21-inch alloy wheels, black badging, darkened lights, gloss black trim inserts and steel brakes with black callipers or optional carbon ceramic units with grey, red or black callipers. The exterior is available in either ‘Dew Silver Matte’ or ‘Chronos Grey’.

Inside the RS Q3 Sportback Edition 10 Years are sports bucket seats with RS badging and carbon fibre seatbacks, leather and suede upholstery, a suede instrument panel, an Alcantara steering wheel, copper contrasting stitching, RS Q3 embroidery on the floor mats, carbon fibre trim and illuminated door sills.

Under the bonnet of the 2023 Audi RS Q3 Sportback Edition 10 Years is unchanged from the regular model, meaning the 294kW/480Nm 2.5-litre turbocharged five-cylinder petrol engine is identical. The claimed 0-100km/h sprint time is just 4.5 seconds and it hits a limited 250km/h top speed. It’s mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and Audi’s quattro all-wheel drive system, while using a claimed 8.9L/100km on the combined cycle.

Aside from the special trim upgrades, the 2023 Audi RS Q3 Sportback Edition 10 Years features the same level of equipment as the regular RS Q3, including automatic all-LED lighting, auto wipers, keyless entry and start, an electric tailgate, heated and auto-folding mirrors, tri-zone climate control, 12-way electrically adjustable front seats, a 10.1-inch touchscreen with online services like weather and fuel prices, satellite navigation with live traffic, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, digital radio, a 680-watt 15-speaker Sonos sound system, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a wireless phone charger, four USB ports and an auto-dimming rear mirror.

Safety equipment includes six airbags, auto emergency braking (AEB) with pedestrian and cyclist detection, driver attention monitoring, Matrix adaptive high beam, adaptive cruise control with stop and go functionality, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, lane keeping assistance with lane trace assist, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera and automatic parking.
