2021 Jaguar E-Pace Updated with New Tech

The 2021 Jaguar E-Pace has been updated with new styling, new technology and a new 300 Sport variant. Launching in Australia in the first quarter of 2021, the E-Pace follows a similar upgrade to its F-Pace and XF larger siblings.

Just two 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol drivetrains will be available in the 2021 Jaguar E-Pace: the 184kW/365Nm P250 and the 221kW/400Nm P300 – the latter is a mild-hybrid. Diesel powertrains have been dropped from the 2021 Jaguar E-Pace lineup. Both engines are mated to a nine-speed auto and all-wheel drive is standard.

Styling changes are subtle, though noticeable with new front and rear bumpers with standard scrolling rear indicators and new alloy wheel designs. The changes inside are much more noticeable with a new 11.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Jaguar Land Rover’s new ‘Pivi Pro’ software, as well as over-the-air updates, live traffic reporting for the navigation system and smartphone mirroring.

A new 12.3-inch digital driver’s display also features as an option, while new trims and upholstery feature as well for a higher quality finish. Additional equipment has been added to the range, including LED headlights with auto high beam from the SE an upwards, as well as adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree parking camera, blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, rear automatic braking, traffic sign recognition and an adaptive speed limiter on all models.

Jaguar has also changed the E-Pace mechanically with chassis tweaks to make the car more fun to drive and comfortable, as well as quieter on the road.

As before, the 2021 Jaguar E-Pace lineup offers S, SE and HSE trim levels, while a new 300 Sport sits atop the range. The 300 Sport is new to the range as a sportier variant and is distinguishable by new grey 20-inch alloy wheels, exterior and interior tweaks, the black exterior pack, an electric tailgate, adaptive suspension, a Meridian sound system and sports seats.
