Not long after the smaller Eclipse Cross and Outlander SUVs, Mitsubishi Motors Australia has released details of the updated 2024 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, which is now in local Mitsubishi dealerships. Likely the last update to the Pajero Sport before an all-new model – based on the new-generation Triton – is due in the next few years, the updated model has added equipment and styling changes, while the former entry-level GLX 4×2 has been deleted, raising the entry price by $6,600.

“Pajero Sport continues to perform a pivotal role in our product portfolio,” said Mitsubishi Motors Australia Limited CEO, Shaun Westcott.

“It is spacious, comfortable and capable, and the 2024 model year looks fantastic with its refreshed exterior, new wheels and upgraded interior. The updated digital instrument display for Exceed and GSR, as well as improved standard specification for GLX, mean there are tangible improvements across the range,” he said.

On the outside, all models in the 2024 Mitsubishi Pajero Sport range feature new 18-inch alloy wheels, which are single tone for the GLX, two-tone for the GLS and Exceed and black for the GSR. The frontal grilles have been updated for a more modern design, including the black headlight extensions from the pre-updated GSR that now feature across the range, while the GLX has picked up automatic dusk-sensing headlights and rain-sensing wipers, while all models now feature adaptive cruise control as well.

Inside, the new Triton’s leather-wrapped steering wheel now features across the range, while the higher-spec Exceed and GSR models now feature an 8.0-inch digital driver’s display with new graphics. Finally, the top-spec GSR now features a burgundy and black leather interior as standard.
